Yangon - Bago - Kyaikhtiyo - Bagan - Popa - Mandalay - Monywa - Pyin Oo Lwin - Pindaya - Inlay - Yangon (14 days 13 nights) 

Day 1: Yangon arrival 

Meet on arrival at Yangon International Airport by Woodland guide. Transfer to hotel for check in. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon visit to Bogyoke Aung San Market, formerly known as Scott market. Evening visit to Shwedagon Pagoda - 2500 year old world famous stupa. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight Yangon. 

Day 2: Yangon - Bago - Kyaikhtiyo

Breakfast at hotel. Excursion tour to Bago, 110 km from Yangon. Bago is an ancient capital dating back to 6th century. Sightseeing includes the Shwemawdaw Pagoda; over a thousand years old, its spire is even taller than Shwedagon Pagoda. See also the 55 meter long reclining Shwethalyaung Buddha Image. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, proceed to Golden Rock, a huge boulder completely covered by gold leaf and delicately balanced on the edge of the cliff. Visitors can travel to the mid-way station, Yathe Taung by small trucks. The car ride along twist and turn small path will take about one hour. Check in and dinner at hotel. Overnight Kyaikhtiyo. 

Day 3: Kyaikhtiyo - Yangon 

Breakfast at hotel. Morning visit to Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda platform. A short trek, to reach to the platform, takes about one hour. Lunch at hotel. Afternoon return to Yangon. Visit en route, the World WAR II Allied War Grave cemetery near Htaukkyant. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight Yangon. 

Day 4: Yangon - Bagan 

Breakfast at hotel. Morning transfer to airport for flight to Nyaung U. Commence sightseeing famous Bagan temples and pagodas such as Shwezegon Pagoda, Gu Byauk Gyi Temple, Htilominlo Temple, Khay Min Ga Temple and many more to see their wall paintings, to study their history and different architecture styles. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, proceed for sightseeing Ananda Temple which shows a masterpiece workmanship of 11th century architecture. Continue to Mingala Zedi Temple and Shwesandaw Pagoda where a narrow staircase leads you to the open terrace for a panoramic view of Bagan. Evening sunset view from Shwesandaw Pagoda. Overnight Bagan. 

Day 5: Bagan - Popa 

Breakfast at hotel. Proceed to Popa Mountain Resort, check in at the resort. Sightseeing of Taungkalat and nat shrines where visitors can observe local worshipping of spirits. Lunch at resort. Afternoon sightseeing includes Popa National Park, Sandalwood plantation and Popa village. Dinner at resort. Overnight Popa.

Day 6: Popa - Nyaung U - Mandalay - Amarapura - Mandalay 

Breakfast at hotel. Morning transfer to Nyaung U airport for flight to Mandalay. Morning excursion to ancient capital Amarapura, 11 km South of Mandalay. Visit to legendary and serene Mahagandayon Monastery where one thousand over monks study Buddhist scriptures. Proceed to 1.2 km long U Bein wooden bridge and silk weaving factory. Lunch at local restaurant. Check in at hotel. Evening sightseeing visit includes Mahamuni Pagoda, one of the most important religious structures in Mandalay. Then proceed to Shwe Kyaung, and Mandalay Hill, the vantage point for the view of Mandalay. Dinner at hotel. Overnight Mandalay. 

Day 7: Mandalay - Monywa 

Breakfast at hotel. Visit to Monywa - the commercial centre of Chindwin Valley, about 136 km to the west of Mandalay. Sites to see in Monywa are Than-Bok-de Pagoda with over 500,000 Buddha Images, Bodhi-ta-htaung - one thousand Bodhi trees. Lunch at local restaurant. Dinner at hotel. Overnight Monywa. 

Day 8: Monywa - Phowin Taung - Monywa - Mandalay 

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to jetty and cross the Chindwin River by boat. Drive to Phowin Taung and Shwe Ba Taung. A famous place to visit the lime cave to study the mural painting on the wall. Afternoon drive to Mandalay. Lunch and dinner at local restaurant. Overnight Mandalay.

Day 9: Mandalay - Mingun - Sagaing - Mandalay 

Breakfast at hotel. Morning excursion trip to Mingun village on the western bank of Ayeyarwaddy River. Tour highlights include Mingun Bell, the world's largest ringing bell weighing 90 tons, Mingun Village, and Shinbume Pagoda, most attractive pagoda built in 1816 by king Bodawpaya's grandson in memory of one of his wives. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, continue to Sagaing, a retreat for Buddhist devotees with numerous Pagodas and monasteries. The scene of Sagaing Hill dotted with many shapes and sizes of pagodas is a beautiful scene, to be viewed from across the river. Dinner at hotel. Overnight Mandalay. 

Day 10: Mandalay - Pyin Oo lwin 

Breakfast at hotel. Morning drive to Pyin Oo Lwin - a pleasant hill resort situated over 3000 ft above sea level, famous for its lovely lake, National Kandawgyi Garden and colonial era buildings. Check in at the resort. Visit Pwe Kauk waterfall and Peik Chin Myaung Caves, 15 miles away from Pyin Oo Lwin, various Buddha images in the cave are part of the attractions of this visit. Then proceed to Maha Anthtookanthar Pagoda. Lunch on the way. Evening visit to National Kandawgyi Gardens. Many varieties of flowers, plants and trees in this gardens are just pleasant and enjoyable for a leisurely stroll. Dinner at the resort. Overnight Pyin Oo Lwin.

Day 11: Pyin Oo Lwin - Heho - Pindaya 

Breakfast at resort. Afternoon transfer to Thada Oo airport for flight to Heho. Drive to Pindaya for two and a half hour. Pindaya is a small quiet town, famous for its thousand of Buddha images deposited inside the caves centuries of years ago. Dinner at hotel. Overnight Pindaya.

Day 12: Pindaya - Inlay 

Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, drive to Inlay via Nyaung Shwe. An excursion by boat on Inlay Lake will include seeing the famous leg rowers, typical floating gardens, local method of fishing and village life. Visit to floating market (available to see on the market days only which is held on every five days). Further visits are made to Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda, the weaving village of Inpawkhon (famous for its silk weaving handlooms), Ngaphechaung Monastery - well known for its jumping cats - and other interesting sights. Dinner at hotel. Overnight Inlay. 

Day 13: Inlay - Indein - Heho - Yangon 

Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, continue by boat to Indine village, market, floating village of Yoma - Inlay Lake's down town. Lunch at local restaurant. Evening transfer to Heho airport for flight to Yangon. Dinner at local restaurant. Transfer to hotel. Overnight Yangon.

Day 14: Yangon departure 

Breakfast at hotel. In time transfer to airport for international departure.
