Day 1: Yangon arrival 

Meet on arrival at Yangon International Airport by Woodland guide. Transfer to hotel for check in. Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit Bogyoke Aung San Market, formerly known as Scott market. In the evening, visit Shwedagon Pagoda - over 2500 years old, the most famous pagoda in Myanmar, one of the wonders of the world. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight Yangon.

Day 2: Yangon - AK Park (Via Mandalay)

Pick up at hotel and transfer to Yangon Airport for flight to Mandalay. Meet Woodland Travels guide at the airport and proceed to Monywa by car, then cross the Chindwin River by ferry and upto to Yin Mar Bin forest guesthouse. Have lunch at guesthouse. Then continue to AK Park. In the evening arrive at AK Park. Dinner and overnight at AK Park.

Day 3: AK Park

After breakfast, visit 'Kathapa Cave', the place where 'Alaungdaw Shinmahar Kathapa' has been enshrined. Then, do elephant riding in the National Park about 2 hours. Have lunch at AK Park guesthouse. Do Elephant riding or trekking in the park in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at guesthouse.

Day 4: AK Park - Mandalay

After breakfast at 8:00 am, depart from Alaungdaw Kathapa guesthouse. Have lunch at local restaurant in Monywa. Then, proceed to Mandalay via Monywa. Arrive in Mandalay in the evening. Overnight in Mandalay.

Day 5: Mandalay 

After breakfast, start excursion to ancient capital Amarapura, 11 km South of Mandalay. Also visit to Mahagandayon Monastery where thousand over monks study Buddha scription, 1.2-km long U Bein wooden bridge and silk weaving factory. Lunch at local restaurant. Evening sightseeing visit includes Mahamuni Pagoda, one of the most important religious structures in Mandalay. Then proceed to Shwe Kyaung, and Mandalay Hill, the vantage point for the view of Mandalay. Dinner at hotel. Overnight Mandalay. 

Day 6: Mandalay - Pyin Oo Lwin 

Breakfast at hotel and then drive to Pyin Oo Lwin, a pleasant hill resort situated over 3000 ft above sea level, famous for its lovely lake, National Kandawgyi Garden and colonial era buildings. The car ride takes about one and a half-hour. Check in at the resort. Visit Pwe Kauk waterfall and Peik Chin Myaung Caves, various Buddha images in the cave are part of the attractions of this visit, 15 miles away from Pyin Oo Lwin. Then proceed to Maha Anthtookanthar Pagoda. Lunch is on the way. In the evening, visit National Kandawgyi Gardens where many varieties of flowers, plants and trees are just pleasant and enjoyable for a leisurely stroll. Dinner at the resort. Overnight Pyin Oo Lwin.

Day 7: Pyin Oo Lwin - Yangon 

Breakfast at the resort. Tour highlights are Pyin Oo Lwin Market, horse cart riding along the colonial style buildings and the Chinese temple. After lunch, transfer to Thada Oo airport for flight to Yangon. Transfer to hotel. Overnight Yangon.

Day 8: Yangon Departure 

Breakfast at hotel. In time transfer to Yangon International Airport for departure flight.
