Day 1: Yangon arrival (-/L/D)

Meet on arrival at Yangon International Airport by Woodland guide. Transfer to hotel for check in. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon visit to Bogyoke Aung San Market, formerly known as Scott market. Evening visit to Shwedagon Pagoda - 2500 years old world famous stupa. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight Yangon.

Day 2: Yangon - Homalin

Transfer to Yangon Airport for morning domestic flight to Mandalay. At Mandalay airport, Woodland Travels guide will meet and fly together to Homalin with transit aircraft. Arrive Homalin in the afternoon. Lunch and dinner at local restaurant. Sightseeing in town and stay at private guesthouse.

Day 3: Homalin - Minkin

Early morning transfer to jetty and start the boat trip along the Chindwin River, up to Minkin. Lunch on the way and dinner at Minkin. Overnight at Minkin.

Day 4: Minkin - Monywa

Early morning, going down along the Chindwin River up to Monywa. Lunch at Monywa. Hotel check in and visit Thanboddae and Bawdhitataung Pagoda. Dinner and overnight at Monywa Hotel.

Day 5: Monywa - AK Park

After breakfast, drive to AK Park. Arrive there in the afternoon. Lunch at AK Park guesthouse. Rest for a while and sightseeing environ on the elephant back. Dinner and overnight at Kathapa guesthouse.

Day 6: AK Park - Mandalay

After breakfast, trekking on the elephant back to the reclining image of Kathapa and cave where Alaungdaw Shin Maha Kathapa has been enshrined. Go back to the camp for refreshment. Drive to Mandalay via Monywa. Lunch at local restaurant in Monywa. Arrive Mandalay in the evening. Hotel check in and visit Mandalay hill to watch sun set. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight in Mandalay.

Day 7: Mandalay - Pyin Oo Lwin

After breakfast, sightseeing Mandalay such as Maharmuni Pagoda, Kuthodaw Pagoda and Mandalay Golden Palace. Hotel check out and drive to Pyin Oo Lwin, a pleasant hill resort situated over 3000 ft above sea level, famous for its lovely lake and National Kandawgyi Garden and colonial era buildings. Dinner and overnight in Pyin Oo Lwin.

Day 8: Pyin Oo Lwin

After breakfast, visit Pwe Kauk waterfall and Peik Chin Myaung Caves, 15 miles away from Pyin Oo Lwin, various Buddha images in the cave is one of the attractions of this visit. Then proceed to Pyin Oo Lwin Market. After lunch, visit Chinese Temple, Maha Anthtookanthar Pagoda. Free and easy program for the rest of the day. Overnight in Pyin Oo Lwin.

Day 9: Pyin Oo Lwin - Yangon

Breakfast at hotel. Check out and transfer to the airport for return flight to Yangon. Arrive in Yangon in the evening and transfer to Hotel. Dinner in local restaurant. Overnight in Yangon.

Day 10: Yangon Departure

Breakfast at hotel. In time transfer to airport for international departure.
