Day 1: Yangon - Myitkyina (-/L/D)

Pick up at hotel and transfer to Yangon airport for domestic flight to Myitkyina which is situated on the west bank of Ayeyarwady River. Transfer to hotel, followed by lunch in local restaurant. Evening drive to Myitsone, where Maykha and Malikha rivers join to become mighty Ayeyarwady. Dinner and overnight in Myitkyina.

Day 2: Myitkyina - Talawgyi (B/L/D)

Breakfast in hotel. Start the journey down the Ayeyarwady river by big long tail boat. During the boat ride, one can see water birds and migratory birds such as Great Cormorant, Oriental Darter, Black stork, Greyleg Goose, Ruddy Shelduck, Common Teal, Lapwing, and River Term which are abundant along the river bank and paddy field. Lunch and dinner will be on the boat. For evening accommodation, rest in the tent with a campfire on the sand bank near Talawgyi village.

Day 3: Talawgyi - Sinbo (B/L/D)

After breakfast, continue the river journey down to Sinbo. Along the way to Sinbo, birds such as White winged wood duck and White bellied heron can be seen. Lunch and dinner will be on the boat. For evening accommodation, rest in the tent with a campfire on the sand bank near Sinbo village.

Day 4: Sinbo-Bhamo (B/L/D)

Breakfast on the river bank. Between Sinbo and Bhamo, guests will come across the first defile of Ayeyarwady river. This is also the area where one can see Ayeyarwady dolphins. In late afternoon, continue cruising down to Bhamo. Check in hotel and visit Bhamo market for local souvenirs. Lunch and dinner will be in local restaurant. Overnight in Bhamo.

Day 5: Bhamo- Myit Kyi Na (B/L/D)

Breakfast in the local market and proceed to Myitkyina by car. The route from Bhamo to Myitkyina is part of Ledo Road, world famous construction project aimed to be used for transporting supplies and arms during World War II. Bird watching along the way to Myitkyina. Lunch and dinner at local restaurant. Overnight Myitkyina.

Day 6: Myit Kyi Na - Yangon (B/L/-)

Breakfast at hotel and sightseeing around central market. Lunch at hotel and transfer to airport for flight to Yangon. Arrive Yangon in the evening and transfer to hotel. Overnight Yangon.
